About State Oil Reports
State Oil Reports began assisting independent oil and gas operators with providing regulatory reporting in the Permian Basin in 1947. As the industry grew, so did State Oil Reports. Now we prepare reports for operators throughout Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, North Dakota and other oil and gas producing states.
Linda Johnston acquired State Oil Reports from the previous owner, Rosellen Busby, in 1989. The need for outsourcing oil and gas regulatory production has increased tremendously, and in 2012, Jeff Johnston joined State Oil Reports to help meet the demands of this growing industry. We are centrally located in New Braunfels, between the Austin Railroad Commission and the San Antonio District Office.
